What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fine Jewelry Quality Control Inspector position at Le Vian?
We are seeking a Quality Control (QC) Inspector with experience in the jewelry industry to add to our QC team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong knowledge of jewelry materials and craftsmanship, and experience inspecting fine jewelry for defects and compliance with quality standards. Additionally, experience with jewelry manufacturing and/or repair will be a strong plus in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed inspections of jewelry for defects in craftsmanship, materials, and finish
- Ensure all pieces meet company quality standards and customer specifications
- Utilize precision measurement tools and industry-standard testing methods
- Document findings and communicate them to management
Requirements:
- Prior experience in jewelry quality control is required
- Working familiarity with gemstones, metals, and jewelry manufacturing techniques
- Ability to recognize defects and inconsistencies in fine jewelry
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Preference will be given to candidates with jewelry manufacturing and/or repair experience
