Summary:
Le Vigne Winery is looking for a positive, organized, efficient team player to manage the La Famiglia wine club. The Wine Club Manager will directly impact high-value consumer sales and profitability, through Wine Club shipments and reorder avenues, by providing excellent customer service and building customer and brand loyalty.
Day-to-day Responsibilities:
Build meaningful and authentic relationships with members and guests
Interface and communicate with wine club members and consumers to close sales
Answer incoming communications in a timely, courteous and professional manner
Create collateral materials including event posters and club shipment inserts
Assist with digital marketing content creation, scheduling and delivery
Coordinate various marketing channels through the contracted agency
Perform data entry, order processing, invoicing and billing, and coordination of shipments
Execute e-commerce programs and assist billings
Minimize member attrition, credit card declines and shipment returns
Ensure every active member receives club shipments
Comply with company policies, procedures and state regulations regarding wine shipments
Plan and execute on-site events
Coordinate and represent the company at off-site events and festivals
Support the tasting room staff and pour wine for guests as needed
Communicate with customers about tasting room history and brand strategy
Work with the winemaking team to submit wines for competitions
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
1-3 years of direct-to-consumer sales and/or customer service experience
At least 1 year of demonstratable success managing a wine club
Excel and take pride in providing excellent customer service
Strong computer skills, notably Outlook, Excel and Microsoft 365 apps
AMS and Photoshop experience is a plus
Must be self-motivated, highly organized and require minimal day-to-day direction
Strong written and verbal skills in English with attention to grammar and professionalism
Ability to work flexible shifts, events and holidays
Strong interpersonal skills to adapt to all customers
Must be able to remain calm and focused under pressure
Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 45 pounds
Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid California Driver’s License
