JOB SUMMARY The Student Nurse Assistant must successfully complete a minimum of 75 classroom training hours as well as 100 clinical hours. This training will be to prepare the student nurse assistant to transition to a role as a nurse assistant. A nurse assistant is responsible for performing direct and indirect patient care tasks as delegated by the appropriate licensed nursing personnel. The primary responsibility of the nurse assistant is to provide basic patient cares such as bathing and hygiene, elimination and toileting, nutrition feeding and hydration, and ambulation and positioning. The nurse assistant supports patient safety and patient satisfaction by performing regular patient rounds on the nursing unit and effectively communicating with all team members. The nurse assistant demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient. JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS This program starts on March 10, 2025.
