Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team as Corps Members. In this role, you will engage in meaningful service projects that benefit the community while gaining valuable skills and experience. Corps Members will work collaboratively with fellow team members to address community needs, promote social change, and foster personal growth. Members will begin September 8th, 2025.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on digital skills training to job seekers with limited or no experience in using digital tools. This includes essential skills such as online job applications, resume creation, email usage, and navigating job search platforms.
- Customize training programs to meet the unique needs of individuals with varying levels of digital proficiency, ensuring participants are equipped with the tools to succeed in modern work environments.
- Collaborate with local businesses to understand their workforce needs, ensuring training aligns with high-wage, high-demand sectors.
- Provide individualized assistance to job seekers, helping them transition from training into self-sufficient employment.
- Bridge the gap between job seekers and employers by organizing community engagement activities such as job fairs, employer networking events, and digital skill workshops.
Experience
- Previous experience in community service, volunteer work, or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in diverse teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
