Job Description

Position : Commercial Plumber

Pay : $24 -$28 per hour

Location : Lakewood Ranch, Tampa & Newport Richey

LEAD Staffing is now hiring Commercial Plumbers for a project in Lakewood Ranch, Tampa & Newport Richey, FL. Candidates should have prior experience in commercial plumbing. Must have experience installing wall mount water closets and urinals and assembling, installing, and repairing pipes, fittings, and fixtures related to heating, water, and drainage systems, following specifications and plumbing codes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Must have experience installing wall mount water closets and urinals.
Assembling the toilet frame
Installing the toilet frame
Adjusting and fixing the frame
Installing the flush mechanism
Installing the toilet pan
Installing the flush plate
Installing the toilet seat and testing the toilet
Test the flushmechanismto make sure it is working correctly, detect any leaks.
Inspect and Diagnose Issues : Candidates inspect work sites, study blueprints, and diagnose issues with piping systems and plumbing fixtures. They determine the type and amount of materials and Wall hung toilet kit components and equipment required for plumbing work.
Cut, Assemble, and Install Pipes : Candidates cut, weld, and assemble pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures. They create openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and fittings. Additionally, they thread pipes and use hand tools and power tools for installation.
Test Plumbing Systems : Candidates test plumbing systems to identify leaks and other faults. They fill pipe systems with water or air and read pressure gauges to ensure proper functioning.
Adhere to Safety Policies : Candidates follow safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Strong Knowledge of installing a wall hung toilet and urinals and Water Distribution Properties : Demonstrates a solid understanding of water distribution systems, including principles related to water flow, pressure, and pipe materials.

Previous Experience in Commercial Plumbing : Holds relevant experience in commercial plumbing, including installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing fixtures and systems.

Mechanical Drawing Interpretation : Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and schematics related to plumbing installations.

Brazing and Soldering Skills : Proficient in brazing and soldering techniques for joining pipes and fittings.

Self-Motivated Team Player : Self-driven and works effectively within a team environment.

Excellent Communication Skills : Communicates clearly and effectively with colleagues, clients, and supervisors.

Desire for Continuous Learning and Growth : Demonstrates a willingness to learn and improve skills.

Physical Strength and Safety Awareness :

Safely lifts up to 100 lbs.

Has good eyesight (either naturally or with correction).

Climbs and maintains balance on high ladders and scaffolds.

Stands, stoops, kneels, or crouches as needed.

Metric System Knowledge : Familiar with measurements in the metric system.

Passes Drug Test : Must be able to pass a drug test as part of employment requirements.
