Starting Schedule
Sunday- Thursday 7 am - 3:30 pm
The Scheduler will coordinate, distribute, and maintain the schedule of work shifts and assignments by ensuring that every shift and position is properly staffed. Responsible for contacting, handling, and responding to schedule changes, call outs, and client requests by coordinating productivity and performance. This position will coordinate schedules, maintain accurate records, and support the payroll process. The Scheduler is accountable for ensuring efficiency for scheduled shifts and to work in compliance with applicable laws when assigning schedules. Additionally, this role will oversee the daily workflow, schedules, and assignments of security staff, serving as a point of escalation and guidance for team members.
Qualifications
- Active BSIS Security Guard License
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Three (3) years of experience in client interaction.
- Desire to protect and serve the client and community.
- Work designated shift hours, with potential for overtime, and be willing to cover vacant shifts as needed, contingent upon holding a valid guard card.
Skill Requirements:
- Prepare written statements and investigations logically, grammatically, and correctly.
- Ability to train and manage relationships with security professionals.
- Conduct oneself professionally and efficiently during interactions with people.
- Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills, add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
- Language skills: Must speak, read, and write English. Other languages are a plus.
- Computer skills: Mid to advanced level skills in creating written documents and reports within a computer application. Comfortable working with a smartphone or tablet application.
- Ability to learn and operate the company Officer Management System (OMS).
Job Responsibilities: 95%

- Create and maintain consistent schedules for officers.
- Understand pay rates for officers per site, on call, and location(s).
- Analyze, communicate, and schedule personnel based on company/client needs.
- Input post orders and other pertinent information into the Officer Management System (OMS) as needed/required.
- Ensure all post orders have been reviewed by staff.
- Assign sites and/or staff due to officer call outs and no shows.
- Create and manage a robust on call and relief officer list.
- Develop and maintain daily reports on officers regarding work hours, requests for leave, and time off requests.
- Verify vacancies that may exist in the uniform officer division.
- Maintain skills with operating the Officer Management System, including completing training sessions as required by system updates.
- Monitor phones, call logging, and data entry operating IP-based telephone system.
- Follow proper notification/escalation procedures.
- Oversee the daily workflow, schedules, and assignments of security staff.
- Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to security team members.
- Review staffing levels to maintain full coverage of posts.
- Maintain a regular, consistent attendance record of Security Guards by ensuring appropriate timekeeping via a time tracking system.
- Collaborate with the HR/Payroll department to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll.
- Collect and verify time sheets to avoid payroll discrepancies, including any penalties, differentials, and other applicable ad hoc earnings.
- Assist in investigating incidents and/or customer complaints.
- Review and input data within the OMS for accurate reporting.
- Attend security education conferences and satisfactorily complete all required training as assigned.
- Provide reports to management.
- Maintain a professional company and community reputation.
- Interact with clients, community members, and employees professionally.
- Interact with local law enforcement agencies as required.
- Be knowledgeable of and adhere to all rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and orders.
Other Duties as Assigned: 5%
