Position: Assistant Project Coordinator
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000
Position Overview:
The Assistant Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth onboarding and recruitment of candidates, while also acting as a liaison between our team, candidates, and clients at various job sites. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Onboarding: Manage the full onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all required documentation and compliance measures are met.
- Recruitment: Assist in recruiting candidates for various roles within the marine industry, including screening resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating job offers.
- Client & Candidate Site Visits: Meet with candidates and clients at job sites to ensure satisfaction, resolve issues, and provide support.
- Project Coordination: Assist in the day-to-day operations of project management, including scheduling, tracking, and communicating updates to all relevant parties.
- Candidate Support: Act as a point of contact for candidates during the recruitment process, providing guidance and answering questions related to employment.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure that all candidate files and documentation are properly maintained and in compliance with legal and company standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in staffing, recruitment, or project coordination (experience in marine or shipbuilding industries preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Valid driver’s license and ability to visit job sites as required.
