This position is an in-office project management role. The candidate will work on the Technical Services team at Oates Energy, and will play a crucial role in managing the following services:
Installation of Meter Systems:
- The team fulfills contracts to install new water and other utility sub meter systems at multifamily construction sites.
- These installations are essential for accurate billing and efficient utility management.
- Candidates should have a strong technical background to understand how the metering system works and troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation.
Troubleshooting and Servicing Water Meter Systems:
- After installation, the team continues to support properties that are under a billing contract with Oates Energy.
- Team members use a cloud software program daily to monitor installation progress, collect metering data, and diagnose issues.
Key Qualifications:
- Tech-Savviness: Candidates must be comfortable with technology and be quick learners.
- Microsoft Office Proficiency: Adeptness with Excel is necessary for data analysis and reporting. They will also be using Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 and are expected to be capable of navigating these software platforms confidently.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills are vital. Team members constantly interact with property managers, construction superintendents, Oates Energy technicians, and other employees.
- Scheduling: Aligning schedules between parties and effectively communicating issues encountered during visits are critical.
- Teamwork: A collaborative mindset is essential; candidates should be willing to assist others when needed.
