Leadenhall Search and Selection is recruiting a Financial Controller on behalf of a global Financial Services firm. This is a great opportunity to lead the day to day finance operations and support the firm's growth efforts. The ideal candidate would have prior strategic finance leadership experience in the investment management or banking space, but the client is open to other industry experience. Big 4 audit/assurance background is a requirement.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise accounting functions, including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end closing procedures.
- Direct budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX regulations, and state/federal tax laws.
- Implement strategies to improve financial performance and streamline operations.
- Support cross-functional teams in making key decisions regarding spending, profitability, ROI, and process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA/CMA preferred).
- 10 years of progressive experience in accounting/finance, with at least 3 years of experience in a leadership/strategic position.
- Extensive knowledge in financial reporting systems/accounting software.
- Exceptional leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- 2 years of Big 4 audit/assurance experience.
Salary : $220,000 - $260,000
