What are the responsibilities and job description for the Systems Administrator - AVID position at Leader Communications Inc?
Position Summary
Provide System administration and expertise for Avid systems, to include Avid Media Production Asset Management System, Avid Media Composer, Avid Pro Tools, Avid NEXIS Enterprise, Avid Interplay System, and Avid Media Central Platform.
Individual must be able to attain and maintain a valid US Government security clearance to be retained in the position.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide installation, configuration, and troubleshooting for Avid system components and products.
Update and validate system patches/updates, to include security compliance testing.
Provide daily performance monitoring and routine maintenance support for system and components.
Provide technical expertise as required.
Must be detail and safety oriented.

Education & Experience Requirements
3 years of related experience
AVID Certified Support Representative (ACSR) Elite certification
CompTIA Security or equivalent
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret
Skill & Certification Requirements
AVID Certified Support Representative (ACSR) Elite certification
CompTIA Security or equivalent
Position requires sitting, for long periods of time. (Sedentary Work)
Most duties require extended use of a keyboard and computer monitor
Extended Telephone Use
May require lifting of 20-50 lbs.
