What does a day as an Investment Representative look like?
As a member of the Investment team, you may perform a variety of responsibilities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Meet with members to guide and assist in decisions regarding investments in mutual funds, bonds, and other assets.
- Responsible for building investment services by identifying potential clients/members and building client base through meetings, telephone contact, business and social contacts.
- Maintain communications with VP-Investment Services. Prepare and submit standard reports; attend scheduled management meetings.
- Research investment options and serve as liaison with brokerage service to ensure clients are provided with up to date optimal solutions to meet financial goals.
What is the schedule? Our hours for this position are 8:00 am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. Sometimes giving top-notch member service may require a little overtime, but we value work-life-balance and do our best to limit this.
Does your skillset and experience line up? For this role, we are looking for someone who:
- Has 12 months or more of similar or related experience
- (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree Series 7 and Series 66 required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of Products (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
- Must maintain a professional, courteous, and friendly atmosphere for members and co-workers
- Must have very strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
