Salary: $65,000 per year
Bonus: $10,000 upon completing each summer contract, paid on August 9th, 2025.
Benefits: 21 days of paid leave per year, 401(k) matched at 8%

Job Summary
Leadership Initiatives seeks a dynamic and highly organized individual to serve as the Summer Internship Recruitment Lead to create, develop, and administer our 2026 student internship recruitment plan. Leadership Initiatives is Georgetown University’s premier summer internship program in the fields of law, business, medicine, neuroscience, and security. Our sponsors at Microsoft, Starbucks, and Amazon heavily subsidize our programs, lowering the cost from $7000 on average to $2500 on average. In this position, you will help to grow our partnership school program and our major partnership initiatives with HOSA, DECA, and FBLA. Additionally, you will look to add strategic partnerships across the United States and the globe while presenting at conferences or special informational nights hosted by our partners.
Key Responsibilities:
The Onsite Manager for a 2,000-person summer internship program at Georgetown University plays a critical role in ensuring everything runs smoothly over the five weeks of programming. This person will coordinate daily meal logistics, working closely with catering teams to accommodate dietary needs and resolve issues like shortages or timing conflicts. They’ll also manage the setup and breakdown of event spaces, lead daily team meetings to assign tasks, and maintain clear communication with vendors to ensure services and supplies are delivered on time. Quality control is key; whether it’s inspecting dining areas, dorms, or event spaces, the manager will make sure everything is clean, functional, and ready to go. Each day, they’ll document operations, track inventory, and provide detailed updates to program leadership.
This role requires strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication is a must for working with staff, participants, and vendors, along with the ability to think on your feet to solve problems as they arise. Attention to detail is essential, especially when managing dietary accommodations and coordinating logistics for such a large group. The ability to stay calm and adaptable during high-pressure situations is critical. The role can be physically demanding and requires someone who is energetic, proactive and committed to creating a positive experience for everyone involved.

- Recruitment:
- Manage our partnership school program with 38 different high schools across the country, responsible for over 600 enrollments
- Maintain partnerships with HOSA, DECA, and FBLA, responsible for 400 enrollments.
- Travel to conferences in the Spring and Fall that will require you to travel one to three days a week, two to three times a month in high recruitment periods (September-November/February-May)
- Assist in managing and growing a recruitment plan for 2100 students for 2026 summer internship programs.
- Manage incoming data for enrollment opportunities, and follow-up timelines for various leads.
- Communication
- Oversee the daily operations of the office, ensuring a smooth, organized work environment.
- Coordinate internal meetings, staff communications, and scheduling to maintain efficient workflows.
- Handle administrative tasks such as managing incoming calls, emails, and correspondence.
- Implement office systems and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.

- Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
