We are searching for a motivated Interim Director of Quality for a 13 week assignment Rutherfordton,NC!
Rutherfordton, North Carolina, founded in 1787, is one of the oldest towns in the state and has deep historical roots, serving as a key location during the American Revolution and the Civil War. The town is known for its charming, historic downtown, including the Rutherford County Courthouse, and its proximity to the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains, making it a gateway for outdoor activities like hiking and fishing. Attractions such as the Cleghorn Plantation, the Rutherfordton Railroad Depot, and nearby Chimney Rock State Park offer visitors a blend of history, nature, and Southern hospitality.
The Director of Case Management is responsible for the oversight of Case Management unit, including but not limited to clinical resource management, discharge planning activities, patient advocacy, clinical social work and best practice in medical necessity determination and concurrent review. Accountable for the execution, adaptation and outcome of care management as prescribed in the initial Utilization Review Plan with regard to resources, appropriateness of care and adherence to a designated Geometric Length of Stay (GLOS) for each patient.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Must Have Skills / Experience : Experience as a Quality Director, Microsoft Office (Excel)
- Required Education : NC RN License, Bachelors, Masters (preferred but not required)
- Top 3 objectives :
1. Keep compliance within Joint Commission standards
2. Lead CMS and Joint Commission oversight
