MDS Coordinator – Skilled Nursing Facility
LeaderStat has a new opportunity for a permanent MDS Coordinator (RN) in Cambridge, Ohio. We’re looking for a driven, experienced MDS nurse to join the team!
Job Duties
Assessing resident needs and coordinating individualized care plans based on assessment results
Collaborate with all departments to ensure that care plan guidelines are followed
Ability to accurately determine PDPM categories, HIPPS codes
Ensuring that the nursing facility is receiving accurate and maximum reimbursement from Medicare and Medicaid
Qualifications
Successful completion of an MDS training program
In-depth working knowledge of RAI user manual, as well as PDPM / HIPPS
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state assigned or in an eligible Nurse Compact State
Knowledge of current state, federal, and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations
Exceptional attention to detail
Strong computer literacy and competency skills
Up-to-date clinical compliance
