We are searching for a motivated Vice President of Surgical Services in an acute care facility in Austin, Texas!
Austin, Texas, was founded in 1839 and became the state capital in 1845, named after Stephen F. Austin, the "Father of Texas." The VP of Surgical Services acts as the facility lead for strategic growth in surgical services; working in collaboration with the Central West Texas Division recruiters and facility leadership. Accountable for the effective, efficient, and compliant operation of surgical services at NAMC and SDSH. Responsible for planning, directing, monitoring, coordinating, evaluating and continually improving the operation of surgical services, to include OR, pre / post, endoscopy, sterile processing, business office, scheduling, and analysts. Establish and maintain medical staff relationships; identify new business opportunities and focus on implementation of the strategic plan related to growth.
What qualifications will you need :
Bachelor's degree required
RN or CST experience required
Master's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field preferred
3 years of experience in surgical services required
3 years of experience in a leadership role preferred or equivalent combination of education and / or experience
Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse or certified surgical technologist in the state in which he or she practices, in accordance with law and regulation required
Ability to oversee multiple facilities.
Will only consider seasoned Directors whom have overseen large acute care facilities.
Salary Base : $150K-$200K , Yearly Director Bonus
