Direct Sales Representative - Dairy Equipment

The Direct Sales Representative is responsible for the direct sales of Boumatic equipment products, providing stellar customer service to new and existing clientele.

Essential Job Functions:

• Strategically promote and direct sell Boumatic products to new and existing customers
• Make routine in-person and sales calls to farm businesses
• Become an expert in Boumatic/LDS products and services offered
• Complete all sales’ proposals accurately and present to customers in a timely manner
• Continually communicate with existing customers, providing them with our new and existing products
• Resolve customer issues in a professional and timely manner
• Meet or exceed sales targets
• Build strong professional relationships and establish trust and rapport with customers
• Attend business networking events and trade shows to accumulate new leads
• Re-service your existing client accounts periodically and systematically
• Collaborate with management team to help identify sales opportunities and strategies
• Represent Boumatic/LDS in a professional and respectful manner
• Continually communicate with the appropriate LDS staff to comply with all policies, including invoicing, proposals, credit card statements, etc.
• Routine travel to farm and commercial customers (must maintain an insurable driving record)

Qualifications:

• Associates or bachelor’s degree in Sales preferred, but not required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales preferred
• Experience in agricultural and or dairy milking equipment a plus
• Ability to work independently and be a self-motivator
• Organizational and communication skills a must
• Computer skills (e.g. Microsoft products/Excel-Word-Outlook)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
