Job Title: Interim Director of People Operations (Remote/Temporary)

Location: Remote (Only considering candidates from Colorado, New Jersey, Washington D.C., and Pennsylvania)

Work Hours: 9:00 am to 5:30 pm

Position Type: Full-Time, Temporary (April to October/November 2025)

Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 annually
Pay Type: Bi-monthly, paid on the 8th and 23rd of each month

We are a top provider of before and after-school programs for children at preschool, elementary, and middle schools across the country. Position Overview:

Leading Edge Before and After School is seeking an experienced and highly organized Interim Director of People Operations to join our team remotely. This role is critical in ensuring our employees are supported and that operational systems run efficiently. The Interim Director will collaborate closely with the CEO, Field Leadership Team, and Corporate Office, overseeing multiple departments, including Human Resources, Customer Service, Finance, and Field Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage business operations across multiple states.
  • Oversee Family Services and Human Resources, including talent acquisition, onboarding, and HRIS management.
  • Partner with department heads to align operations with company objectives.
  • Support employee relations, training, and performance development initiatives.
  • Handle policy updates, benefits administration, and compliance matters.
  • Stay current with evolving labor laws and ensure organizational compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in human resources or operations management.
  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High proficiency in Google Workspace and other web-based tools.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Reliable internet connection and proficiency with technology. Company equipment (laptop, printer, headset) can be provided if needed.
