Job Purpose :
This position will provide low voltage cabling installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for clients in the Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin area.
Technical Duties :
Performs service upgrades, reconditioning, retrofits, for its low-voltage cabling products and systems.
Performs preventative maintenance on Cameras, Monitors or other hardware.
Troubleshoot low voltage cabling used in video, voice, audio, and data systems.
Maintain and input records or reports related to testing / inspecting activities.
Installing, terminating, dressing low-voltage cabling at client jobsites.
Assist in build out and configuration of Infrastructure Rack Equipment rooms.
Troubleshoot miscellaneous cabling and connectivity.
On the Job training provided.

Ability to complete tasks to standards, individually / without supervision
Job Requirements :
Willingness to travel to customers across the Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin areas.
Willing to support and work the necessary hours to finish critical work.
Ability to work full-time, including overtime, flexible hours.
A high school diploma or GED
Must have a valid driver's license.
Reliable transportation.
Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Fully squat, stoop, or kneel.
Maintain standing position for long periods of time while performing repetitive actions such as grasping or manipulating wires.
Work off ladders and / or Scissor / boom lifts.
Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions including cold, rain, heat, etc.
Ability to tolerate high noise levels subject to a construction site
