The City of North Branch, Minnesota is seeking a Maintenance I employee for the Public Works Department. Candidates should have experience in any or all of the following : concrete work, street repair, parks and grounds maintenance, vehicle and equipment maintenance, wastewater collection and treatment, single and tandem axle snow plow truck operation, and light and heavy equipment operation.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Two years municipal experience is preferred and as described in the job description. Successful candidates must have a Class A Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement within 6 months. Successful candidates must pass a physical and a drug and alcohol screening test.
Successful candidates will be required to be on a rotating on-call schedule and must be able to respond within 20 minutes. The starting salary is $32.62 / hr per hour which is based on a unionized three Tier System plus excellent benefits.
