POSITION SUMMARY:
The Membership Coordinator works to support Leagues in maintaining and growing their membership. A
major component of this role is technical support for members and League leaders in using the new
membership management system, ChapterSpot, from one-on-one troubleshooting to broader training and
facilitation of use of the system. Beyond the technical side, this person will work to promote a culture of
belonging for League members, including coordination of resolution of member concerns. She/he/they will
also help with the logistics of maintaining the membership roster.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
Associate’s degree or a minimum of 3 years of experience working in membership or customer service within
an organization, preferably a nonprofit or association.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The person in this position is primarily sedentary and needs to occasionally move about inside the office to
access file cabinets, office machinery. The person must also be available to travel and walk longer distances to
offices and events. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a
calculator, copy machine, computer, and computer printer.

Internal Candidates: Associate Level II Position
Requirements:ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Answer emails and phone calls from members and League leaders about use of ChapterSpot
• Provide live training to League leaders and create/edit training tools
• Facilitate membership dues flow between Leagues, especially for check-paying members
• Coordinate communication of member concerns/complaints
• Assists with membership recruitment and retention
• Provide member appreciation tools to Leagues
• Help Leagues transfer and maintain ChapterSpot websites
• Facilitate inter-League information sharing
• Maintain and update internal League records
• Handle special projects at the direction of the Senior Manager, Membership
• Track and follow up on responses
• Other duties as assigned
