PURPOSE:
Call retail outlets and introduce Leanin' Tree, our greeting cards, and gifts to potential wholesale customers. Supports the new business development team by consistently making a minimum of 200 calls a day, qualifying a minimum of 12 leads per day, for follow up.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Calls potential Leanin' Tree customers by telephone to introduce the company, our products and to send product samples and catalogs to interested stores. Makes a minimum of 200 dials a day and qualify 12 leads per day.
Communicates effectively and adheres to the Lead Generation script. Determines legitimate interest and ensures quality leads by asking potential customers qualifying questions.
Obtains and documents pertinent information collected on the phone calls. Ensures accuracy of the account information, such as ownership, store type, address, city, state, and postal code.
Acquires alternate phone numbers, email addresses and alternate means of communication.
Accurately maintains the CRM system by documenting accounts, updating information on accounts, deleting duplicate accounts, and purging accounts.
Maximizes opportunities by:
Product knowledge.
Leanin' Tree policies and procedures.
Minimum of 200 outbound telephone calls per day.
Adding new prospect accounts by asking for referrals.
CRM management.
Lead Generators will be accountable for meeting daily, weekly, and monthly lead goals.
Communicates effectively and professionally with potential customers, peers, department managers and other Leanin' Tree departments.
Other Functions:
Participates in meetings, training sessions, one on ones and engages in on-going self-development activities.
Keeps current on all company policies, product information, pricing, and promotions.
Keeps current on greeting card competitors.
Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE NECESSARY:
High School diploma, or equivalent.
Call center experience, preferred.
Customer Service experience, preferred.
