As a Product Manager at SAP LeanIX, you will own the product perspective for one of our teams and contribute to shape and continuously improve our Software-as-a-service product, closely collaborating with our Software Engineers and UX Designers within your team. You will solve challenging enterprise architecture problems through scalable and resilient software built on a modern tech stack and micro service architecture. Your team is one of five teams in our Inventory Tribe that build the foundation of our product. Your team will focus on the central hub for accessing and editing the most important customer objects: the Fact Sheets. Your team empowers our customers to effectively manage their Enterprise Architecture practice!
WHAT IS WAITING FOR YOU?
- You take charge of an exciting product that is transforming enterprise architecture management and become the acknowledged expert for Fact Sheets.
- You work closely with customers to deeply understand how to enable them to actively manage and maintain fact sheets, striving for an excellent level of data quality. In addition, your dialogue with customers will assure the usability of our product for Enterprise Architects and non-enterprise Architects to leverage maximum customer value.
- You will be in close exchange with product leadership to align your work with the product vision - and to challenge and influence the overall product strategy
- You work directly with product marketing and sales - understand the market and competition, and influence how our product is positioned and perceived
- You will be responsible for the team’s backlog and roadmap - the topics the team is working on, and in which order
- Together with your team, you have full responsibility from product discovery through iterative delivery to customer value until the desired outcome is reached.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Experience in Product Management, proven work experience of 2 years in a SaaS environment
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and iterative Agile environment. Setting, adapting to evolving priorities and delivering value continuously.
- Proven track record of contributing to or leading feature development in iterative cycles, ensuring quick feedback loops and incremental delivery to meet user and business needs.
- Ability to make informed, balanced decisions that consider both technical constraints and business requirements, ensuring solutions are practical, scalable, and impactful.
- A strong focus on enabling and empowering team members to excel, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment where everyone’s contributions are valued and leveraged for success.
- Proven experience in working closely with diverse, cross-functional teams, from product, UI/UX designers, engineers and other stakeholders, bridging the gap between the problem and solution space to deliver effective and customer-centric solutions.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture concepts is a plus, but not a strict requirement. We are open to candidates with strong product management skills who are excited to learn about this field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Fluency in English is required.
