Job Overview

Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and record vital signs to ensure the health and safety of clients.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Assist with heavy lifting and mobility support for clients with physical limitations.
- Observe and report any changes in client behavior or condition to the appropriate personnel.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality.
- Administer first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring client safety at all times.
- Collaborate with social workers and healthcare professionals to develop care plans tailored to individual needs.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as social work or nursing home care is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform patient observation effectively, noting any significant changes in health status.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with diverse populations.
- Physical capability to assist with heavy lifting and mobility tasks as needed.

Pay: $12.00 - $16.25 per hour
