Role Overview:
As the Head of Finance & Accounting, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing all financial activities within the company, ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our financial systems and processes. You’ll be responsible for driving financial strategy, managing accounting operations, and providing insights to guide executive decision-making. Your experience in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment will be crucial in navigating the complexities and opportunities that come with scaling a business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Leadership & Strategy: Lead the company’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. Partner with the CEO and executive team to define and execute on strategic goals, including managing capital structure, liquidity, and growth initiatives
- Accounting Operations: Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, tax filings, and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS)
- Private Equity Reporting: Provide timely and accurate financial reports to the Board and investors. Manage the preparation of investor presentations, quarterly reports, and annual budgets. Ensure financials are aligned with the PE firm’s reporting and governance standards
- Cash Flow & Treasury Management: Optimize cash flow management, monitor working capital, and manage relationships with banks, creditors, and external auditors
- Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A): Support M&A activity, including due diligence, integration, and post-acquisition financial oversight, ensuring value creation through strategic deals
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements. Manage internal controls and risk management processes to safeguard company assets
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance. Establish clear financial objectives and KPIs to track company performance
- Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements and automation in finance operations, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of finance and accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in a PE-backed or high-growth environment.
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting standards.
- Experience with PE investors and navigating the complexities of reporting and compliance for private equity-backed companies.
- Proven track record in managing cash flow, financial strategy, and financial operations in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
- M&A experience is a plus, particularly in due diligence and post-merger integration.

Salary : $200,000 - $225,000
