Verizon Customer Service Associate Responsibilities:
- Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs and to explain how these needs could be met by specific products and services.
- Explain products or services and prices, and answer questions from customers.
- Emphasize product features based on analyses of customers' needs and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations.
- Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with the sales and management team.
- Demonstrate consistent, outstanding judgment, honesty, and integrity in all aspects of job performance in collaboration with other Verizon Customer Service Associates and upper management.
- Ability to identify and maintain the most efficient process to reach the required sales outcomes.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment with other Verizon Customer Service Associates, providing coaching and support to colleagues serving the same client.
Verizon Customer Service Associate Requirements:
- Minimum of a high school diploma, GED or equivalent; advanced education or degree preferred.
- Proven experience in sales or account management, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment alongside the Verizon Customer Service Associate department while also being self-motivated.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and a fast-paced work environment.
- Demonstrate critical thinking and strategic mindset competencies with the ability to work in complex situations.
