The Hardware Operations Specialist will be responsible for a wide range of tasks and duties that all contribute to the success of the Event Operations team. The primary responsibilities of this role will be to assist with the logistics for all event hardware, manage hardware inventory counts; and assist clients with hardware issues when required. This position will report to the Associate Director of Hardware Operations, and will provide support to our rapidly expanding live events calendar. This position will be an in-person role that will operate out of our warehouse facility in Pittsburgh, PA.

AS A HARDWARE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST, YOU WILL:
Maintain proficiency in all hardware and software applications used by clients at events.
Prepare outgoing hardware shipments by performing software updates, conducting thorough testing, and adhering to our sanitization process.
Maintain equipment inventory by identifying and cataloging any defective or non-functional devices.
Assist with hardware shipping lifecycle to:
Thoroughly understand and utilize Inventory Management System software.
Organize and maintain hardware and equipment within our warehouse facility.
Maintain hardware inventory across all products.
Use proper shipping method and meet delivery dates
Track shipment to ensure there are no delays
Coordinate timely return of all equipment
Receive items after events and accurately log inventory
Maintain adequate supply of shipping and preparation materials required for successful logistics operations.
Contribute content to Event Operation’s advanced documentation resources and maintain these internal resources with updates.
Act as a resource for Customer Service, Client Services, and Sales to provide internal training, troubleshooting and/or act as a resource when questions arise.
Willing to work during non-traditional hours when required.
Traveling to support on-site events is possible.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Leap Event Technology requires all Event Operations employees and contractors who will be representing the company at a client event to be fully vaccinated at least two weeks prior to attending. Exemptions are determined by the event organizer. Employees are not required to be fully vaccinated to be present at an office facility.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
H.S. diploma or equivalent required, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
2 years experience in event production, logistics, asset management, shipping coordination, and/or fulfillment required
Must be technically proficient and able to quickly learn a variety of software applications.
Familiarity with Windows, MacOS, iOS and Android operating systems
Very organized and detail-oriented
Strong professional communication skills, ability to confidently interact with clients required
Able to work in a fast paced environment with ability to prioritize unexpected requests
Able to meet deadlines
Ability to self-start and complete tasks with minimal oversight
Be willing and able to travel to support events during busy parts of the year, including weekends
