Each day will bring new opportunities, from creating compelling content and driving donor engagement to cultivating school and district partnerships. This role is based in Chicago, with opportunities for hybrid work schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing & Communications
- Assist in the development and execute implementation of strategies for marketing and increasing brand awareness
- Design and execute marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and support the partner development journey
- Develop and manage content for social media, email campaigns, newsletters, publications, and websites
- Develop, present and maintain a marketing calendar to ensure alignment with organizational goals
- Design creative assets and materials that inspire stakeholders, including educators, partners, and donors.
Partnerships & Lead Generation
- Identify partnership and philanthropy opportunities through research, data analysis and qualification process.
- Support partnership efforts by developing presentations and materials that communicate mission, programming and value to potential partners and supporters
- Leverage CRM tools to manage pipelines and track engagement efforts.
- Assist in scheduling, planning and execution of webinars and events
Fundraising & Development
- Collaborate on grant proposals, donor campaigns, and events that secure resources for LEAP’s programs.
- Support revenue goals by executing creative strategies for philanthropy and sponsorships.
Innovation & Operations
- Organize and prioritize daily tasks to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Track and report on key performance metrics across marketing, sales, and fundraising efforts.
- Support cross-departmental initiatives
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance team efficiency.
- Monitor key metrics and provide data-driven insights to guide decision-making.
- Maintain files and CRM records
Skills & Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in marketing, communications, sales, or fundraising roles in K-12 education and/or nonprofit organizations
- Desire to improve education through personalized learning and commitment to LEAP’s mission to empower educators and students
- Proven ability to adapt in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Proactive, solutions-oriented approach
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Hubspot, Little Green Light), social media platforms, communications platforms (e.g., Constant Contact, SquareSpace) and design tools (e.g., Canva)
- Graphic design experience with PPT, Google Slides
- Project management skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail
Salary : $55,000 - $70,000
