Leveraging Equal Access Program (LEAP) is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that helps individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our individual's disabilities range from Downs Syndrome, MR, Traumatic Brain Injury, Autism, in addition to other cognitive and physical disabilities. Our team is creative, extraordinary, dynamic and committed to serving the developmentally disabled community with positive impacts.


As a Program Coordinator with LEAP, you'll be one of those extraordinary people. We seek a passionate team player who can successfully assist in program goals and day to day operation of the program. North Bay Region is Santa Rosa, Vallejo, Fairfield, Vacaville, Napa, Petaluma, San Rafael, and Novato


Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Represent LEAP in the community at large to promote the services of the program.
  • Support planning, implementation, and coordination of the program and its activities.
  • Ensure consistent and complete documentation of program services and activities.
  • Support maintaining program related partnerships with community-based and neighborhood organizations.
  • Coordinate program communications internally and externally.
  • Support the Social Worker Team to ensure that high quality services are consistently delivered, and the records are maintained in accordance with appropriate standards.
  • Handle confidential information and documents, as well as potential crisis situations
  • Attend staff meetings, training, and other meetings as required.
  • Travel to and from home sites when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in public health, public administration, social work, or other related field minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking.
  • Clear and effective external and internal, verbal and written, communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinker and problem solver who can successfully build and lead an execution strategy from a long-term vision.
  • Passion and knowledge of skill-based workforce development programming and social enterprises.
  • Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals and groups, both professional and non-professional, co-workers, management personnel, the public and others.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Non-profit experience but not required
  • Event planning experience
  • Interested in Social Work or Case Manager work
  • Social Security or Medical experience
  • Experience with home visiting and case management.
