Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our caring and supportive team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children of various ages. This role requires a positive and upbeat attitude, experience with children, the ability to work easily with others and a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for childhood development and the ability to manage behaviors effectively while fostering a positive atmosphere for learning and growth.
Duties
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
- Implement educational programs that support early childhood education principles.
- Provide attentive care to infants, toddlers and preschoolers, ensuring their needs are met in a timely and nurturing manner.
- Manage behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective communication.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for children to play and learn.
- Communicate with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Collaborate with other childcare staff to plan and execute daily activities.
- Keep accurate records of children's activities, behaviors, and any incidents that occur.
Experience
- Previous experience in childcare settings such as daycare centers, babysitting, or nannying is preferred.
- Holding an active Wisconsin Registry membership is preferred, but we can help you work toward that if necessary.
- Familiarity with infant care practices is beneficial.
- A genuine love for working with children and the ability to educate them through play-based learning is preferred.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
