Leaps and Bounds is seeking two qualified teachers: Infant Teacher and Twos Teacher.
Leaps and Bounds has immediate openings for two energetic, loving and reliable infant/toddler teachers to work in our center!
Applicants should have a nurturing, caring nature, a positive outlook, work well with a team, and have a passion for working with children. Candidates should also be able to communicate effectively with both parents and fellow staff members
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of infants and toddlers.
- Manage classroom activities and maintain a safe, nurturing environment for children.
- Foster effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and well-being.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor child development and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance curriculum
Required:
Minimum of 12 ECE semester units including Child Growth and Development, Child, Family and Community, curriculum class and Infant/Toddler units.
CPR/First Aid Certification
Background clearance with Live Scan
Completed the Mandatory Reporter class
Current TB Test and Immunizations (MMR, Flu, Tdap)
Hours Available: 6:45 am-6:30 pm, Shifts discussed during interview.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
