We are in search of committed, detail-oriented, open-minded teachers who approach infants from a stance of respect and curiosity. If you enjoy learning about each infant’s unique personality and needs, then building your materials and classroom environment around those observations, you could be the candidate we’re looking for.

We are a full-year, Reggio Emilia and Educaring-inspired early childhood care & education center located in Cranston (very close to Garden City Center, just off I-95, Rte. 37, & I-295). We provide play-based care for children ages 6 weeks – 5 years old. We support open-ended, nature-based, teacher-facilitated investigations and art experiences. We center our work around the social-emotional needs and development of the children. We welcome visiting artists, music teachers, and master gardeners to support the investigations teachers are facilitating for the children.

• Model positive discipline and conflict resolution techniques while supporting infants' interactions with one another.
• Carefully observe and track the growth of the whole child and the classroom community.
• Design an environment, inside and out, that includes elements of nature and open-ended materials.
• Attend all family meetings, events, and conferences.
• Attend and collaborate during 1:1 & program meetings with the Pedagogy Coordinator and your co-teacher.
• Training provided.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
