What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director in Training - Preschool position at Learning Care Group?
- Lead! Manage school staff by planning work schedules, evaluating staff performance, and developing performance improvement plans. Assist with the implementation of Company-provided curriculum, which includes coaching, communicating, and interpreting standards with teachers.
- Promote! Ensure the school operates in accordance with company and state licensing standards, while promoting a positive partnership within the surrounding community.
- Innovate! Spark imagination, build self-esteem, and help children discover new things each day in an educational, caring, and safe environment.
- Build! Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.
- Learn! Receive training and support from our awesome leadership to team to grow with the company.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Associate, or bachelor’s degree preferred in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Must meet state education and experience requirements for child care director.
- Must have 90 hours in Preschool and School Age.
- 2 years of supervisory/management experience; experience in early childhood education strongly preferred.
