Job Purpose:
Learning Exchange is seeking a dedicated and highly organized professional educator to serve as an Account Manager for assigned schools in Milwaukee,WI. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building client relationships, and is passionate about supporting student achievement through professional development and family engagement initiatives. The coordinator will work closely with non-public school leaders to design, implement, and manage professional development plans, family engagement strategies, and resource coordination, all while managing various funding sources. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and have exceptional communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement both initial and ongoing strategic plans for professional development and family engagement across multiple schools.
- Collaborate monthly and ongoing throughout the year, with school leaders to assess needs, adjust plans, and ensure alignment with school goals and priorities.
- Plan and coordinate K-12 professional development initiatives to enhance educator skills and support teaching effectiveness.
- Work with instructional coaches, external presenters, and agencies to deliver high-quality, impactful professional development sessions..
- Research educational products, tools, and services; obtain quotes, establish relationships with new vendors, and submit pre-approvals for purchases.
- Manage annual budgets for multiple assigned schools, ensuring that funds are used effectively and in alignment with program goals.
- Source and coordinate events, workshops, and training sessions, around logistics, materials, etc.
- Maintain accurate records and process documentation, including invoices, participation documents and other supporting documents.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external personnel, including the Account Manager team, school leaders, instructional staff, and community stakeholders.
- Follow compliance guidelines in accordance with Federal guidelines
- Adjust methodology of work completed based on new instruction provided by MPS.
- Obtain approval for all services/materials requested by Title teachers for instruction and items requested by schools
- Adapt to changing expectations, standards, or instructions by MPS
- Efficiency, accuracy and timeliness in work tasks and meeting deadlines
- Collaborate on reports
Education & License:
- Current Wisconsin Educator License (required)
- Experience in education, professional development, or working in K-12 schools is preferred.
- Experience with budget management, event coordination, and non-public school settings is a plus.
Essential Skills & Abilities:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Ability to use math computations as needed to ensure accuracy of budgets, orders, etc.
- Proficiency in technology, including Google Docs, Office 365 (Excel), and other digital tools for productivity and communication.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to listen and provide excellent customer service to clients and team members
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to creatively address challenges.
- Self-directed, motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing guidance.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Comfortable with giving suggestions/guiding school leaders to ensure funding is utilized
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time
Requirements:
- Valid State of WI Teaching License

Travel Requirements:
This position requires occasional travel to assigned schools in the Milwaukee area. Travel is Mileage reimbursement provided for travel between locations.
