Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote literacy education, creativity, and critical thinking.
- Create a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning through play.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, utilizing positive reinforcement strategies to guide children’s interactions.
- Conduct regular assessments of children’s progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss children's development and address any concerns.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.
- Support early intervention strategies for children who may require additional assistance or resources.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom space conducive to learning.
Experience
- Previous experience in childcare or preschool settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or other educational philosophies is a plus.
- Strong background in curriculum development tailored for preschool-aged children.
- Experience working with students who may require additional support or specialized instruction.
- Proven ability to engage young learners through effective tutoring techniques and interactive activities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to foster relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $8.00 - $9.00 per hour
