As of April 24th, a collaborative law firm seeks a Legal Recruiting Manager to play a leadership role within the New York office. This role will involve:
- Planning and Executing the firm’s Fall Recruiting and Summer Associate Programs, including managing relationships with law schools, planning summer events, and gathering feedback after the program’s completion.
- Collaborating with practice leaders to determine the firm’s recruiting needs and carrying out hiring efforts for Lateral Associate openings.
- Coordinating interviews and callbacks, preparing offer letters, and extending offers to select candidates.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with search firms.
- Representing the firm at industry events and preparing relevant recruitment materials.
- Overseeing onboarding and integration efforts.
- Identifying ways to enhance the firm’s talent acquisition practices and implementing procedural enhancements to ensure the firm’s continued success.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree and at least six years of talent acquisition experience, including at least two years within a law firm setting.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as an exceptional work ethic and detail-oriented approach.
- Terrific leader who can think strategically and develop relationships with key internal and external parties.
- Strong understanding of attorneys, law firms, and the legal recruiting market.
