What You’ll Do:
As the Swing Technician, you will assist with installation, service, warehouse, and delivery to support organizational goals and ensure projects are completed in accordance with customer requirements, on-time, and error-free.
Your Accountabilities in the Role:
- Reviews design specifications and blueprints prior to project commencement to ensure proper preparation.
- Communicates with the customer to set project, work area, and timeline expectations and to proactively address issues or concerns for smooth project kickoff.
- Handles full product installation, including all appropriate cabinet, countertop, window, and door accessories accurately for a full and complete job.
- Administers excellent customer service skills to ensure customer issues and complaints are professionally and promptly addressed.
- Completes service calls as necessary to address customer issues and guarantee full customer satisfaction.
- Completes all appropriate internal paperwork for support staff that is needed to see a project or job through to completion.
- Assists in the unloading of vendor deliveries and staging where appropriate to ensure swift, proper product storage.
- Assists in delivering product to specified job sites in accordance with a predetermined schedule to ensure timely delivery.
- Handles the unloading of product at the job sites to designated storage areas, following the customer’s guidance, for excellent customer service.
- Administers paperwork for customer approval and signature for delivery back to home office to guarantee smooth order workflow.
Position Requirements:
- Education: A High School Diploma or GED preferred; will consider an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- Experience: 1 years of previous experience in heavy material delivery, warehouse technician, cabinet installation, or similar role preferred.
- Certification(s): Valid Driver’s License required; forklift certification a plus.
- Functional Skills: Strong skillset in planning, prioritizing, and organizing; thorough and able to follow instructions. Excellent ability to work with any type of tool including miter saws, jigsaws, and chop saws; basic math skills with ability to read a blueprint and tape measurer. Strong time management skills and high attention to detail; solid problem-solving and logical application skills; strong follow through.
- Technology Aptitude/Skills: Basic MS Office skills preferred.
- Language Skills: Solid verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate politely, intelligently and professionally with Customers.
- Leadership/Behaviors: Self-motivated, able to work independently and within a team environment; honest, dependable, and prompt with a high sense of urgency. Able to multi-task; strong customer and team focus; collaborative and safety-minded.

Other Important Information:
Salary: Salary is commensurate with proven expertise.

Reports To: Operations Manager
Core Hours: 7 am – 4pm
Typical Work Week: M-F; some weekends & OT required; 40-45 hours a week on average
Direct Reports: None
Travel: Day travel to local job sites is required
