Leavitt Great West Insurance Services is seeking a Divisional Leader of Loss Control to join our
Commercial Business Insurance team.
Leavitt Great West Insurance provides risk management solutions that help businesses protect against
the loss of assets because of sudden incidents and casualties. Leavitt Great West works with clients to
identify potential areas of risk exposure and recommend solutions to guard against loss. In this role you
will provide quality risk consulting services to LGW clients, support producers and be an integral team
member in the commercial lines division in the Eastern Montana, North Dakota, and Wyoming areas.

What can you expect?
As a loss control specialist you will be working with businesses to perform assessments, provide
employee training, developing risk management strategies, evaluating regulatory compliance, providing
incident support, and developing written policies and documenting activity. These services will be
focused to help clients reduce exposure to loss, and assist clients in compliance with governmental
agencies such as MSHA, OSHA and DOT. A consultative approach is used to suggest alternative
approaches and risk management suggestions to clients to better implement loss prevention programs
as well as provide quality safety training presentations for employees, supervisors, or management. You
will work in a strong team environment with producers to identify client specific issues while building
and maintaining positive relationships with business leaders.
This position will be a part of the LGW Billings Montana office location, with flexibility in travel onsite
with clients, remote work, as well as an office presence.

What are we looking for?
• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience in safety and loss prevention in the oil and gas exploration industry, transportation
industry or large construction industry (PREFFERED NOT REQUIRED)
• Experience in insurance carrier and/or national broker in property and casualty risk (PREFFERED
NOT REQUIRED)
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Technical aptitude and a desire to grow and learn
• Ability to effectively build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, management
and peers
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Able to work independently, set priorities and meet goals
