Job Summary
As a Correctional Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining order within correctional facilities and overseeing the safety and security of inmates and staff.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and supervise inmate activities to prevent disturbances and escapes
- Conduct regular inspections of cells, common areas, and inmate belongings
- Enforce facility rules and regulations to ensure compliance
- Respond to emergencies and incidents within the facility promptly
- Escort inmates within the facility or during transport
- Document all activities, incidents, and behavior observations in detailed reports
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.12 - $35.06 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
