Accounts Payable Representative

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Representative
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of all accounts payable
- Handle incoming mail, capture/scan AP documents, and review for accuracy
- Match PO-related invoicing, process payments, and post details of business transactions in AP Workflow system
- Perform EOM closing duties and ensure accurate, timely reconciliation of General Ledger
- Follow up on aging documents
- Prepare reports and maintain files
- Respond to supplier inquiries
- Provide support for SAP and AP Workflow system as needed
- Assist in the development and automation of reporting, identifying potential issues of process changes, mitigating any financial or consumer impacts, and implementing corrective actions/continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications of the Accounts Payable Representative
- 3-5 years of relevant Accounts Payable experience
- Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office Suite skills
- Must be a team player with solid written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of data entry; basic knowledge of SAP a plus
- Excellent organizational skills
