Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, supporting reports preparation, budgeting and forecasting, and collaborating across departments.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform general ledger reconciliations and ensure data accuracy and completeness.
* Maintain and analyze financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
* Manage and provide guidance to AP and AR team members to ensure efficient and accurate processing of transactions.
* Monitor and reconcile inventory transactions to ensure accurate valuation and reporting, working with AP and AR teams to manage related financial transactions.
* Execute corporate accounting tasks, including intercompany transactions.
* Oversee month-end and year-end close processes.
* Prepare necessary financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.
* Prepare sales reports, management reports and other reports as needed.
* Conduct variance analysis and recommend improvements.
* Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings and audits, coordinating with AP and AR teams for accurate financial documentation.
* Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
* Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes and improve efficiency.
* Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned to support the team.
