What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper position at Ledgent Finance & Accounting?
Our recruiting firm is partnering with a General Contractor in Pompano Beach, to find them a Construction Bookkeeper. This GC has been in business for over 30 years and specializes in commercial construction projects such as restaurants and municipal projects.
This position is temp to hire as it is a new role for the company, but it is a role that will be kept on permanently.
The ideal salary range is between $26-$30 per hour depending on experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage accounting functions including maintenance of general ledger
- AP, AR and special project accounting
- Subcontractor invoices and billing
- Bank and Project Cost reconciliations
- Payroll support
Qualifications:
- Construction industry experience is required
- Experience with Sage 300 or Sage Timberline is required
- 100% onsite position
