What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant - Real Estate position at Ledgent Finance & Accounting?
A small real estate firm located near Beverly Hills is seeking a Senior Accountant. In this position the Senior Accountant will be responsible for assisting with month/quarter/year-end closing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entry preparation, and accounting & bank reconciliation. The Senior Accountant will also process lease payments, calculate property management fees, assist with preparing consolidated financial statements, tax filings, process billing statements, reconcile balance sheets, as well as calculate monthly expenses.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or related discipline is required.
- At least three years of real estate industry experience is needed.
- CPA or CPA tracking is a plus.
- Yardi is extremely preferred.
- Must have excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Advanced Excel is required.
- $88 - 95k.
