RETS Associates has been retained by our client, a privately held commercial real estate company with a portfolio of office, retail and multi-family assets, to recruit a Senior Accountant for their Santa Monica office. The Senior Accountant will oversee a team of 3rd party property accountants and perform accounting responsibilities at the corporate and asset management level. Responsibilities include processing corporate accounts, preparing statutory reports, and assisting property management teams with financial reporting, budgeting, and CAM reconciliations. Additionally, the accountant will support new property acquisitions and updates to budgeting and reconciliation procedures.
Candidates must have :
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, familiarity with GAAP, and experience in real estate accounting.
- Technical skills in Microsoft Office and knowledge of specialized software like MRI and Yardi are beneficial.
Compensation : $100 - $110K DOE
Hybrid : Two Days WFH
Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
