Job Summary
The Operations Coordinator will perform a variety of tasks to ensure the efficient and quality execution of logistics and customer service operations. Key duties include managing orders, shipments, scheduling, invoicing, and responding to customer and carrier requests. You will also monitor task boards and assigned email accounts to ensure timely communication and issue resolution.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Execute tasks related to quality and efficiency, in accordance with company policies and SOPs.
- Create and activate orders, build loads, assign shipments, schedule appointments, track shipments, and handle invoicing.
- Address customer and carrier requests, escalating when necessary.
- Maintain accuracy of load data in systems according to company and customer standards.
- Update and resolve events, reject or cancel orders, and manage load profiles.
- Follow up on customer or carrier requests to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
Required:
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Associate Operations Coordinator
- Availability to work evenings and/or weekends (if required for the role)
- Two years of experience in customer service, call centers, or transportation/logistics (for external postings)
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous experience in a call center or customer service role
- Strong communication, prioritization, and time management skills
- Attention to detail
