JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Salesforce Commerce Developer to join our development team. You will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites and web applications on Salesforce, Ecommerce platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects and contribute to the growth of our company.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Contribute to the day-to-day maintenance and development of our Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Salesforce Order Management System (OMS) platforms
- Experience in Building Phone Applications is a huge plus.
- Contribute to the creation and management of technical documentation and workflows related to best practice for developing and maintaining Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Salesforce OMS.
- Test and debug Salesforce Cloud Commerce platform, including unit, system, integration, and performance testing.
- Assist with technical design of Salesforce ecosystems, using object-oriented design techniques and best practices.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of eCommerce and CMS platforms.
- Contribute the creation and establishment of project roadmaps and timelines for the Salesforce Commerce Cloud environment.
- Produce excellent code while collaborating with internal developers and cross-functional partners.
- Act with urgency and professionalism when interfacing with technical teammates and business leaders.
- Provide advanced-level development and documentation skills
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on Salesforce Commerce Cloud development experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of full life cycle implementation experience using various software development lifecycle methodologies.
- Minimum of 3 years of developing eCommerce applications, specifically Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C or B2B web applications.
- Multiple years of experience developing and maintaining well-performing, cross-browser, responsive, and customer-facing Salesforce Commerce Cloud sites.
- Possess strong skills with web development technologies including XML, HTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, Web Services/SOAP, and SQL.
- Experience with web application design and analysis, design patterns, and object-oriented design.
- Experience in a consulting environment with a demonstrated track record of continuing responsibilities, creativity, and innovation.
- Experience evaluating and implementing cloud-based solutions, object-oriented languages, and concepts, and developing software and technical implementations of customer projects.
- Hands-on professional experience in designing, documenting, and developing web-based and stand-alone software applications.
- Experienced working with designers to create and maintain style guides & CSS standards across different applications.
- Appreciation for web standards and accessibility (i.e., WCAG Standards, screen reader support, semantic HTML).
- Ability to work independently as part of a small, focused team acting as the primary technical expert and advocate.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Strong fundamental understanding of eCommerce functions.
BONUS SKILLS:
- Salesforce Commerce Cloud Certification. Candidates without this certification will be required to obtain one after being hired.
- Familiarity developing and maintaining CMS/e-Commerce platforms (i.e., Site Core, Adobe, Magento, etc.)
- Knowledge of open-source frameworks such as React, Angular, or Ember.js.
- Experience building or integrating phone applications within Salesforce Cloud
