What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior IT Applications Project Manager (Onsite) position at Ledgent Technology?
We are seeking an IT Project Manager to work on a team at our client site in San Antonio, TX. The position is W2 hourly with our company (Roth Staffing, parent company of Ledgent Technology), with all work taking place onsite for our client. The position is 6 months in duration and could be extended.
The person in this position will handle project management duties as it relates to a large cloud migration (migration experience not 100% necessary). There are numerous applications being migrated, so you will be working with many teams and stakeholders. The client uses JIRA and operates in an Agile environment. The project is at the startup phase, so you will be getting involved from the beginning.
Description:
- Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects within the information technology department.
- Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project.
- Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects.
- Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project.
- Requires at least 7 years of experience.
