We are partnering with a leading Real Estate Company in Upland, CA hiring an IT Systems Administrator.
- This is a Direct Hire position
- Mondays to Thursdays on Site, Fridays Remote
- Start Time can be between 6 AM to 9 AM, company is very flexible as they think family comes first
- We are looking for a Senior IT Systems Administrator who has at least 5 years of professional experience, specialized in Server Administration, Storage Administration, and Disaster & Recovery
- Need to be very strong in Windows, Must understand and have been installing up to Server 2019, company is on 2022 right now; need to know 2016 and 2019 server in both physical and virtual environment
- Need to know OneDrive - Absolute Must
- Azure or AWS experience is really nice to have but they do have external support on this area, so you can grow there
- Need to be able to stand up a windows server, patch management, etc.
- Need to know SAN or NAS device - Configure and monitor for Storage Administration
- Company is implementing SharePoint and OneDrive, so it is required to know these two
- Tight knit team, so mutual respect is important and need someone who is humble
Position Summary: The IT Systems Administrator manages and maintains our organization's server and data storage infrastructure on-premises and in the cloud. They will install, configure, patch, and secure servers and storage systems, ensuring optimal performance, uptime, and security. They will be responsible for the data center replication, data backup, restores, and disaster recovery testing. They will also administrate the Active Directory platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Server Administration:
- Install, configure, secure, and maintain physical and virtual servers (Windows and Linux) on-premises and in the cloud.
- Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and patch management.
- Monitor server performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system efficiency.
- Storage Administration:
- Install, configure, secure, and manage physical and virtual storage solutions both on-premises and in the cloud.
- Implement and support SharePoint and OneDrive to support the Microsoft platform.
- Backup & Disaster Recovery Administration:
- Develop and maintain data backups and provide support in DR testing.
- Set up and monitor data backups ensuring all planned backups are successful.
- Active Directory Administration:
- Manage and maintain the Active Directory domain, including user accounts, groups, and permissions.
- Configure and troubleshoot GPOs for security and system management.
- Reporting and Auditing
- For all areas of system administration, utilize scripting and reporting tools to monitor, report on, and make corrections to systems.
- Perform several periodic planned audits to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience:
- 5 years of experience in IT systems administration.
- Strong technical background in all the listed system administration areas listed.
- Skills:
- Proficient in Windows server administration.
- Proficient in Microsoft Active Directory, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Proficient in Virtual Server administration.
- Proficient in Backup software.
- Plus for knowledge on Vsphere, Veeam, and/or HP Nimble.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary : $80,000 - $110,000
