Software Engineer - Senior/Principal Levels - Direct Hire - Hybrid
South Metro - Twin Cities, MN | Hybrid (3-4 days in office per week)
Salary: $130,000 - $175,000 (based on experience)
Overview
Seeking a Software Engineer to develop and maintain code for the UI and microservices of company software. This role will involve cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, test, and maintain software.
* Design and manage microservices.
* Enhance and refine the user interface.
* Prepare and review design verification and validation documents.
* Create and maintain design documentation within the Quality Management System (QMS).
* Collaborate with multiple teams throughout the development process.
* Oversee product management activities to align with QMS and project timelines.
* Mentor engineers in best practices for software development in a regulated environment.
* Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
* 5-7 years of software development experience.
* Proficiency in Python and JavaScript (experience with C# and Java is a plus).
* Experience in the medical device industry is preferred.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* Ability to work independently and find optimal solutions with multi-disciplinary teams.
