Job Summary:
The Technical Data Business Analyst plays a critical role in gathering, documenting, and driving requirements by collaborating with subject matter experts to align with organizational goals. This position works closely with the Oracle Fusion and DevOps teams to support implementations, manage product backlogs, and contribute to related development projects.
This is a full-time, direct-hire role based in Saint Paul, MN, with a hybrid schedule (4 days onsite, 1 day remote). The target compensation is $130,000-$145,000.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and manage Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) for Oracle, Salesforce, Access, and Sage.
* Lead requirements discovery and gathering sessions with stakeholders.
* Write and execute SQL Server queries and ad-hoc reports.
* Develop SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports.
* Create and execute test scripts to validate requirements.
* Validate business requirements and ensure stakeholder alignment.
* Communicate project updates to leadership and manage small to medium-sized projects.
* Organize and prioritize tasks to meet project goals.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education and Training:
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience and Skills:
* 7 years of experience writing functional and technical specifications.
* 5 years of experience leading Agile ceremonies and managing backlogs.
* 3 years of experience working in Salesforce, including documenting workflows and writing requirements for Salesforce updates.
* Proficiency in SQL Server for creating and modifying SQL queries.
* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Effective project management and prioritization abilities.
