Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is actively seeking a skilled Staff Accountant to join their dynamic team in Florida. This position offers an opportunity to engage in a variety of accounting functions while contributing to the financial success of the organization.
- Assist with maintaining general ledger accounts, records, and financial reports in Dynamics GP.
- Prepare and post adjusting journal entries, analyses, account reconciliations, fixed asset reconciliation, and assist with monthly close processes.
- Assist in the review and preparation of financial statements and periodic reviews and audits with outside accounting firms.
- Perform monthly bank and credit card transaction reviews and reconciliations.
- Assist with semi-monthly and monthly distributor payments and maintain resource information.
- Record and monitor Accounts Receivable.
- Assist with processing employee payroll.
- Responsible for the distribution of daily invoices and monthly statements.
- Assist with issuing weekly, monthly, and year-end financial and tax reports.
- Organize and file monthly notices and keep track of state and federal filings for multiple entities.
- Assist Controller with the month-end closing process.
- Cross-trained to act as back-up to other Accounting positions, such as Accounts Payable and Inventory Accounting.
- Provide mid-level administrative and financial support and work closely with other accounting personnel, internal departments, and external parties.
The role requires on-site working hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

The salary for this position ranges from $30 to $35 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
